With an objective to reassert its support to all environment related issues, specially the need to curb pollution caused by plastic waste, KDB Public School celebrated the ‘World Earth Day’ with great aplomb on Saturday 21st April 2018. The day started with a special morning assembly presenting a song on ‘Save Environment’. Students of classes VI-IX came armed with Posters and Collages depicting the degradation of environment and depletion of Natural Resources. Each child from class VI brought a pot with plant to show their solidarity with the slogan – ‘Green Earth : Clean Earth’. Class VII students prepared paper bags with different messages to ‘Save Mother Earth’ inscribed across them to give the message of discarding the use of poly bags. Class VIII students took part in ‘Poster Making Competition’ and class IX children prepared collages based on the concept of ‘Best out of Waste’. The whole programme was oriented towards providing information. A inspiration required fundamentally to change human attitude and behavior towards Mother Earth.
