“A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.”

Pre Primary wing of K.D.B public school organized an orientation programme for the new parents of nursery, KG and prep class. The aim was to familiarize the parents as ‘ partners in progress’ with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co- scholastic activities.

The programme commenced with Saraswati Vandana after that parents were told that holistic development of the children is the main aim and objective of our school. They were briefed about the rules and regulations of school and later the teachers gave overview of nine important Multiple Intelligences , Jolly phonics which is a new methodology of teaching English but not to forget the co- scholastic activities which provided the parents with an assurance that our curriculum involves hands on learning activities which not only vent their creative talents but also help in their all –round development .

Miss Apurva Srivastava , counsellor in primary wing shared some important tips on health and hygiene of children.

The programme was concluded with vote of thanks given by Principal Maam Mrs. Nivedita Rana. The programme ended on a good note with an aim of growing our children in to a happy, skilful, creative and well adjusted citizens.
