KDB Public School organized a cleanliness drive under Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign on 20th September 2019. The main purpose of the programme was to create awareness among the students and society regarding the ill effects of usage of plastic. All the students from classes Nur to V participated in the programme with zeal and energy. The teachers accompanied and guided the students. The Director Mrs. Bimla Saini, Principal Mrs. Nivedita Rana and Vice Principal Mrs. Namrata Dubey started the programme by telling students the importance of sanitation and motivated them to cut down the usage of plastic products which are very harmful for the environment.

The Principal, teachers and students took an oath to keep the surroundings clean. They pledged to cut down the usage of plastic products. Under the programme, students did the dusting of the rooms, cleaned the class rooms, corridors, school ground and nearby areas. They used paper and jute bags for picking up the garbage.

The drive was quite inspiring for the staff, students and even the society. The principal, teachers and local public appreciated the efforts taken by the students.
