Sports develop physical as well as mental strength in students. Regular exercise is essential to stay healthy. So, it should be a major part of a student’s life as they also help them focus on their studies. Keeping this fact in mind the school lays a lot of emphasis on physical fitness, hence games and sports are an integral part of the school curriculum.


K.D.B. Public School has initiated a program in the school for all the classes, in which students get sufficient time in the morning to practice and play various games. Main attractions of this morning program are Archery, Football, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Skating, Chess, Self Defense, Yoga, Basketball, Gymnastics etc. The best part of this program is their classes are not affected and they can maintain a balance between academic and co-curricular activities. And to train them in various sports there are professional coaches who give specialized training on a regular basis.


The sports department of KDB has been continuously bringing laurels from time to time in various games and sports which includes Yoga, Football and Judo Championships at district, national and international level.
