No. Students can be dropped only at their designated stops. Any change requires prior written permission from parents.

Check for these "Gold Standard" safety features:

  • Identification: The words "School Bus" should be clearly marked on the front and back.
  • Tech: CCTV for real-time monitoring.
  • Equipment: The bus must have a first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher.
  • Personnel: There should be a trained attendant/conductor on board in addition to the driver.

The school transport policies prohibit eating on the bus to prevent choking hazards and to keep the bus clean.

Drivers carry a complete manifest including:

  • Student names and classes and emergency contact numbers.
